It’s New Years Eve in 1930’s Berlin, and the Kit Kat Klub is alive and in its element, entertaining everyone from soldiers to starving authors. An American writer comes to Germany for the first time and slowly becomes entangled in the romance, politics and parties around him. Cabaret confronts the role of artists and citizens in turmoil and demonstrates a city as it changes over time.
